I have 20 years of experience in the construction and maintenance Industry. My father owned his own construction consulting company. I followed suit by opening my own successful construction consulting business for 12 years. I noticed that the roof was one of the most critical parts of the structure, yet it received the least attention unless it was leaking. The Roof industry has a replace-it mentality, and that causes 70% of roofs to be replaced earlier than needed. The cost of a replacement often puts people in financial hardship. I wanted to find a cost-effective alternative to replacement.

I have been running a solar company for 15 years. In my years of solar installation, one of the biggest concerns was ensuring the roof was secure enough for a new solar installation. I would continuously lose jobs due to costly roof replacements that would need to take place before installation, and I realized I needed to find a way to help save my client’s money so they could get the energy-efficient home they were looking for.

Two Problems One Solution

We met at a barbecue and had much in common regarding roofing industry experience. After airing out our concerns about the high roofing cost, we put our heads together and researched. Fluid-applied roofing systems are a relatively new concept; however, it is taking the world by storm. We teamed up to talk to multiple manufacturers and countless hours of research before we decided to team up with NANOSEALERS™ and American WeatherStar to make sure we had options for every roofing type.

Our Goal

We opened up Freedom Roof Solutions in February of 2023, and our goal is to preserve as many roofing systems as possible with eco-friendly roofing solutions to keep tons of construction materials from being pre-maturely dumped into landfills. Starting as a small company in Montana, we strive to expand and begin saving homes throughout the Western United States.
